🚚 Delivery & Subscription Details
Your first box will be sent within 3–5 working days of signing up. After that, the timing depends on when you joined:
- Signed up before the 27th?
You’ll be charged for your second Teabreak box on the 1st of the next month, and it’ll be posted around the 10th. - Signed up on or after the 27th?
We’ll give you a little breathing room before your second Teabreak box. You’ll be charged on the 1st of the following month instead, with that box also sent around the 10th.
After that, it’s smooth and steady:

Example:
- Sign up on 26th June → Teabreak 1 posts within a week, Teabreak 2 charged on 1st July and posts around 10th July
- Sign up on 28th June → Teabreak 1 posts within a week, Teabreak 2 charged on 1st August and posts around 10th August
We do it this way so you’ve got time to actually enjoy your first box before the next one appears on your doorstep.
That depends on which plan you’ve chosen:
- Month-to-month plan
Total flexibility. You can pause, skip a month, or cancel anytime... no strings, no stress. - 6- or 12-month commitment plans
These plans come with a lower monthly cost and that fabulous bonus, so in return, you’re committing to 6 or 12 monthly boxes.
We totally get that life can be a lot, so if you need a breather, you’re welcome to pause after your 3rd box, but you won’t be able to cancel until all 6 or 12 boxes have been sent.
Your subscription will continue rolling beyond the commitment period unless you choose to cancel.
Nope! Once you’re in, your Teabreak boxes will be delivered automatically each month, no reordering needed. Just pop the kettle on when it arrives.
We do have special offers each month that you can add to your box, but these are totally optional and we'll walk you through adding these as and when you want.
We deliver across the UK using Royal Mail First Class. Unfortunately, international shipping isn’t available at the moment.
Not as standard.... we post all boxes at the same time each month to keep things running smoothly.
But! If you’re going away and know you won’t be around when your box usually arrives, just drop us an email. We’re happy to shift your shipping date for that month so your cake’s still fresh when you’re back.
Because nobody wants a soggy Teabreak waiting on the doormat.
No problem! You can update your address in your account area anytime. Just make sure it’s done at least 5 days before your next box is due to ship.
We’ll try your payment again automatically. If it still doesn’t work, we’ll let you know via email so you can update your payment info and not miss your next box. You can update your payment method in your caccount area anytime.
Yes, you can set up a subscription and enter a different shipping address for the lucky recipient. Just be aware that the emails will still come to you.
We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as PayPal.
Heads up if you’re using PayPal:
You might see an odd $1 charge when you first sign up — it’s just PayPal double-checking your subscription. That amount is instantly refunded, and then your proper payment will go through as normal. It can look a bit strange if you’re not expecting it, but it’s all above board!

When you sign up, you’ll choose one of the following options to suit your taste and needs:
- Classic Cake – A monthly surprise bake like brownies, blondies or traybakes
- Gluten-Free Cake – A longer-life option, carefully chosen and clearly labelled
- Vegan Cake – Also longer-life, fully plant-based and totally tasty
- Chocolate Bar – Prefer something longer lasting? Choose a choccie bar instead of cake (you do you!). We use 80g Coco Pzazz chocolate bars and mix up the flavours each month.
You can update your choice any time through your account if your taste changes or you fancy a switch.
These bakes come from small-batch bakers we love and trust. Most are freshly made or frozen straight after baking, then packed carefully into your box. Each month you'll get two pieces of something delicious like a brownie, blondie or traybake... not mass-produced nonsense.
They’re wrapped to stay tasty for at around 10 days from posting, and you can freeze them again if needed. We rotate bakers and flavours to keep things interesting!
All our classic cakes are vegetarian and nut free, but are made in bakeries that handle nuts. If you need something longer lasting we recommend you choose a lovely chocolate bar instead!
These ones are pre-packaged to avoid risk of cross-contamination, but still chosen for their flavour and proper treat vibes. We taste-test everything (tough job, we know) and only include cakes that we think are genuinely worth pausing for.

Yes, you can update your preferences any time before the next billing cycle. Just log into your account and click on “Update Choices”. Because if we never changed our minds, life would be boring, right?!
🎨 Crafts & Creativity
Not at all. Everything is designed with beginners (and tired brains!) in mind. These aren’t Pinterest-perfect projects... they’re calming, creative activities that are meant to be enjoyed, not perfected.
Think of it as playful crafting with no pressure, just joy.
Each month is different, but you can expect things like cross-stitching, macrame, origami, needle felting, simple clay work, even non-crafty things like planting seeds and reading classic literature (with a Teabreak twist). We try to mix things up so you get a good variety.
We often work with other craft-kit designers so as well as our own inventions, you can expect to see projects from the likes of Cotton Clara, Origami-Est, Hawthorn Handmade and Edinburgh Craft Club, to name just a few!

Every project comes with full instructions, so you won’t be left scratching your head... just pop the kettle on, open the box, and get stuck in.
It varies... all projects will take at least an hour, though you can dip in and out at your own pace. Some people finish theirs in one go with a cuppa and a dedicated afternoon; others like to spread it out over a few evenings.
Some projects might need doing in two sittings if there is drying time involved (for example we have made air-dry clay trinket dishes that were designed and shaped for one sitting, left to dry and then varnished and decorated another day).
There’s no right way... just your way.
That’s completely okay. These projects are about process, not perfection. No one’s marking your work.... and you’re allowed to start, stop, abandon, re-start, or glue it upside down and call it abstract art.
The win is in taking time for you.
Nope! We include everything you need in the box, from materials to tools (unless it’s something very basic like scissors, ruler or a pencil). You’ll be ready to go as soon as the postie delivers it.
You are able to chose your first box at the checkout, but after that we keep the projects a surprise each month because most Hummingbirds (that's what we call Teabreak Project members) love the excitement of unboxing something new.
If you prefer to know what you’re getting or have several specific craft dislikes, this box might not be the best fit, because we don’t reveal projects in advance or offer substitutions.
But don’t worry, if a project isn’t quite your cup of tea, you can always enjoy the cake and tea, save the project to gift to a friend, or give it a go anyway... it’s all about taking time for yourself in whatever way feels right.
